Workflow in administration

ONESOURCE Workflow depends on the permission settings in ONESOURCE Administration. Proper setup ensures Entities and Jurisdictions are ready for use, enabling you to view and manage tasks as needed.

Permissions

Ensure users are active and have specific Workflow access and permissions to work in each area.
Permissions include:
  • Tasks:
You can edit tasks assigned to you or all tasks, view the dashboard, override due dates, and assign tasks.
  • Workflows:
You can view, add, or delete workflows.
  • Setup:
Permissions to manage templates and global settings.

Entities

Entity data from ONESOURCE Administration automatically transfers to ONESOURCE Workflow. Make sure to have the entity code, name, and primary country chosen.
If your product links to Entities in ONESOURCE Administration, make sure to tag the entity with both Workflow and the integrating product for shared use. This ensures that the data is accessible and usable across both platforms.
If your product doesn't use Entities in ONESOURCE Administration, make sure the entity name and entity code match.

Jurisdictions

To associate Jurisdictions with Workflow, you need to choose
Workflow
as an application under
Reference Data
and then select
Jurisdictions
in ONESOURCE Administration.
