Open a workpaper for editing
When you open an existing workpaper to edit it, even if you choose to open or save the workpaper locally, the workpaper's automatically checked out of the system, and only you can edit it.
Open for viewing (read-only)
When you open a read-only workpaper:
- All Set functions get disabled, but you can still execute Get functions.
- If you manually change a Set function and try to execute it, you get #Formula Disabled# in the formula cell.
- The filename includes Read Only.
Open workpapers that are checked out
To open a workpaper that's already checked out:
- In the Workpapers grid, find the workpaper and select the workpaper name. This method gives you a read-only version.
- In the Workpapers grid, find the workpaper and select the download icon in theAccesscolumn.
