Run or cancel a batch of workpapers
You can run or cancel a batch of workpapers in the
Batches
area of the system. To run a batch, go to
Batches
and then select Run
.After starting a batch, you can cancel the process before it completes in
Batches
, Cancel
. You can cancel batches from either Batch List or Batch Queue.- When you cancel a batch, the Status column shows which batch jobs completed.
- Only workpapers in progress are canceled. Completed workpapers remain completed.
- If you rerun the same batch, the completed jobs get resubmitted along with the canceled jobs.
- If you only want to resubmit the canceled jobs, create a new batch containing only the canceled jobs.
Errors with batches
If the banner message isn't green (indicating a successful run), you may receive one of the following messages:
- Orange - Indicates both successful and unsuccessful batches that can be queued.
- Red - Indicates batches that can't be queued.
