Use the Microsoft 365 Administrator Center to install the add-in
This installation method is the recommended method for most organizations as it provides centralized management, control over user assignments, and automatic updates.
Do the following to install the add-in with the Microsoft 365 Administrator Center:

You'll need to be a Microsoft 365 Global Administrator or an Exchange Administrator for your organization to complete these steps.
- Make sure you have themanifest.xmlfile for the add-in saved on your local device.
- Go to https://admin.microsoft.com.
- Sign in with your Microsoft 365 Global Administrator or Exchange Administrator credentials.
- SelectSettingsthenIntegrated Apps.
- SelectUpload Custom Apps.TheDeploy New Appscreen opens.
- SelectUpload manifest file (.xml) from device.
- SelectChoose Filethen go to the location you saved themanifest.xmlfile.
- SelectNext.
- Select 1 of the following for who gets the add-in:
- Just me: Only your administrator account will get the add-in (useful for initial testing by an administrator).
- Entire organization: The add-in will be deployed to everyone in your organization.
- Specific users/groups: You can search for and select specific users or Microsoft 365 groups. This is recommended for targeted rollouts.
- SelectNext.
- Review your deployment settings, including application details, assigned users, and permissions.
- SelectFinish Deployment.You'll get a message indicating that the deployment has started. It may take a few minutes for the application to be fully deployed.
- SelectDone.The add-in will show in theIntegrated appslist. It can take up to 24 hours for the add-in to appear in users' Excel applications.
The users who got the add-in will need to do the following:
- In Excel, select .
- On theAdmin Managedtab, the new Workpapers NG add-in will be listed. SelectAddto install it.
