Rename items in the Documents area

You can rename files, folders and subfolders in the Documents screen.

Rename a document or top-level folder

  1. Select the checkbox next to the document or top-level folder you want to rename.
  2. Select
    Manage
    , then
    Properties
    .
  3. Make changes and select
    Save
    .

Rename a subfolder

  1. Select the checkbox next to the subfolder you want to rename.
  2. Select
    Manage
    , then
    Rename
    .
  3. Make changes and select
    Rename
    .
Client contacts with appropriate permissions can rename items in shared folders.
note
When you rename files that have been uploaded to multiple folders, you’ll need to rename the files in each folder.
