Manage views
Use Manage views to save, name, and switch between your favorite filtered views so you can quickly focus on the most relevant work.
Manage views help you:
- Focus on the most relevant work faster.
- Keep views consistent across work sessions.
- Reduce time spent manually filtering and searching.
- Support a consistent, streamlined workflow across your organization.
Default views and limits
The following default views are available:
- Projects and tasks
- Only projects
- Only tasks
You can have up to
10
total views, including the default views. Default views can't be deleted.What you can do with manage views
With Manage views, you can:
- Save any set of filters as a reusable view.
- Name and describe views so they are easy to recognize.
- Switch between views without losing context.
- Create new views and edit existing views.
- Rename views and delete views (except default views).
Create a new view
To create a new view:
- On the Project List, selectManage views.
- In the dropdown, selectAdd new.
- Enter aView name, then selectAdd view.
- Apply filters, manage columns, and add groups as needed to define the data subset for your new view.
Edit a saved view
To edit an existing view:
- Select an existing view.
- Change filters, columns, and groups as needed.
- Review your changes. Changes to the selected view are saved automatically.
Rename a saved view
To rename a saved view:
- SelectManage views.
- In the dropdown, selectRename.
- In theRename viewwindow, enter a new name.
- SelectRenameto save the new name.
Delete a view
To delete a view:
- SelectManage views.
- In the dropdown, selectDelete.
- Select the view to delete.
- SelectDeleteto verify. Default views can't be deleted.
