Before you start

Set up recurrence frequency and options

Go to
Setup
, then
Project Templates
.
Select
Add
or select the project template, then select
Edit
.
In the
Recurrence
tab, select a
Pattern
.
For
Annually
and
Periodic
recurrence frequencies, you can select fiscal year end or calendar year.
For projects that use an accounting application, you can base recurrence frequency patterns on a client's accounting periods.
Use the additional options to further define the recurrence pattern.
For example, for biweekly payroll work, you can create a project template that will be due every two weeks on Friday (weekly pattern, due every 2 weeks, on Fridays).
The Project and Task Generation Options allow you to choose which values are retained from the current project and/or task instead of the template.
