Compromised email and password

If your email and password are involved in a data breach, your Thomson Reuters account will be locked until you change your password.
We implemented this measure to help protect your account from anyone who may have knowledge of your compromised email and password.

How it works

If your credentials are involved in a data breach online, the following will happen:
  • Your Thomson Reuters Account will be temporarily locked until you change your password.
  • You’ll see an error saying your sign-in attempt was blocked if you try to access your Thomson Reuters Account or Onvio Center.
  • You’ll get an email explaining what happened with a link to change your password. Select the link to reset your password, then sign in.
