Setup

Merge a contact into a client

Contacts can be converted to a client while retaining any information attached to the contact. Once a contact is merged into a client, you can add projects to the client.

Before you start

Make sure you're assigned to a permission group that has
Clients
 enabled.

Convert a contact

  1. In Onvio Center select
    Setup
    , then
    Clients
    .
  2. Select
    Add
    .
  3. Enter an
    ID
    .
  4. Choose
    Select Existing Contact
    .
  5. Choose the contact that you want to upgrade to a client.
  6. Select
    Save
    . This will pull the contact's information into the client.
  7. Make changes and select
    Save
    . The type of contact will change from standalone to client.
