Delete a client

If you have permissions, you can delete clients from Onvio or set them as inactive.

Before you begin

You can't delete clients if they are attached to other information, such as time and billing entries. In that case, we recommend you set the client as inactive.
An inactive client can't be assigned to future projects, tasks, or bills.

Set client as inactive

  1. Go to
    Setup
    , then
    Clients
    .
  2. Select the client, then select
    Edit
    .
  3. Scroll to the end of the
    General
     tab and select
    Inactive
    .
  4. Save your changes.

Delete a client

  1. Go to
    Setup
    , then
    Clients
    .
  2. Mark the checkbox next to each client you want to delete.
  3. Select
    Delete
     from the toolbar, then select
    Delete
    .
