Tips for permission groups

Onvio permission groups let you give access separately to features and contacts.
As you set up permission groups, you can add staff to more than 1 permission group, so you can design focused permission groups to be combined with others. This enables you to “stack” permission groups for staff who need access to various areas of functionality for different sets of contacts.

Before you begin

  • You need to be logged in as a staff member with administrative permissions to add and edit permission groups.
  • If you're the Onvio Primary administrator, add yourself to the permission groups first.
  • You can add a staff member to more than 1 permission group. They’ll have every permission granted by those groups combined.

Example permission groups

For firms with more than 1 staff member, we recommend you add these permission groups.
Applications and features that aren't listed in the following tables are at your discretion.
