Add activities

Activities serve 2 purposes in Onvio:
  • Billing or work codes for time and billing
  • Basis of tasks for project tracking

Before you begin

  • Make sure you're assigned to a permission group that has
    Activities
    enabled.
  • Set up staff rates for time and billing calculations.

Add an activity

  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Activities
    .
  2. Select
    Add
    .
  3. Enter an ID and name for the activity. You can also add a description that will appear on client invoices.
  4. Select a type for the activity:
    Time
    or
    Expense
    .
  5. Select a class for the activity:
    Billable
    ,
    Non Billable
    , or
    Administrative
    .
  6. Select
    Save
    when you're finished.
