Activity categories

Activity categories let you group similar activities together on reports and invoices.

Before you begin

Make sure you're assigned to a permission group that has
Activities
enabled.

Add activity categories

  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Activity Categories
    .
  2. Select
    Add
    .
  3. Enter an
    ID
    and
    Name
    for the activity category.
  4. Enter an invoice description if you would like a different name to appear on your client's invoice.
  5. Select
    Save
    when you're finished.

Set a category grouping for an activity

When you add an activity, select the activity category to group activities together to display on reports and invoices.

Edit activity categories

  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Activity Categories
    .
  2. Select the activity category, then select
    Edit
    .
  3. Make changes and select
    Save
    .

Delete activity categories

  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Activity Categories
    .
  2. Select the activity category, then select
    Delete
    .
  3. Select
    Delete
    to verify.
