Add a client

Before you begin

Make sure you're assigned to a permission group that has Clients enabled.

Create a new client

While you work in Onvio, you can add new clients as needed. If the client you need isn't listed, select
Add a New Client
or
Add a Client
at the end of the existing client list.
  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Clients
    in Onvio Center
    .
  2. Select
    Add
    .
  3. Enter an
    ID
    and
    Name
    .
  4. Select the
    Entity Type
    for the client.
  5. Optionally, you can select the client as confidential, add relationships, and grant Client Center access to the client.
    note
    • Only individuals can access Onvio Client Center. Add an individual contact as a relationship, then grant them Client Center access on behalf of the client.
    • Each email address should be unique for the associated contact.
  6. Select
    Save
    when you're finished.

Create a new client from an existing contact

  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Clients
    in Onvio Center.
  2. Select
    Add
    .
  3. Enter an
    ID
    .
  4. Select the
    Select Existing Contact
    at the beginning of the
    Name
    field
    .
  5. Select the Contact, then select
    Save
    .
  6. Select
    Save
    again.
