Update users email address, generate a temporary password, or set up temporary email as 2FA

Administrators can update email addresses, generate temporary passwords, and set up email as a 2-factor authentication (2FA) method for staff and client users directly within Onvio.

This feature is available to staff who are in the
Administrative Permissions
group or who have
Everything
selected for
Onvio Setup
permissions.
Onvio gives you greater control over user access management. You can update email addresses, generate temporary passwords, and set up email as a 2FA method within a 1-hour window for staff and client users. To get started, access the proper screen and follow the on-screen instructions:
  • For staff:
    1. Go to
      Setup
      and select
      Staff
      .
    2. Select the staff member you want to update.
    3. Select
      Edit
      and select the
      Onvio Access
      tab.
  • For clients:
    1. Go to
      Setup
      and select
      Clients
      .
    2. Select the client you want to update.
    3. Select
      Edit
      and select the
      Client Center Access
      tab.
