Copy and paste adjustments

Use the following procedure to copy and paste selected adjustments in the
Adjustments
grid.
  1. Select adjustments in the
    Adjustments
    grid, then select
    Copy
    in the toolbar. A green alert indicates that the adjustment journal was copied successfully.
  2. If necessary, select the current period that you would like to paste the adjustments into from the
    Settings
    tab.
  3. Select
    Paste
    in the toolbar, then one of the following options.
    • Paste Original.
      Pastes identical transactions into the Adjustments grid.
    • Paste Reversed.
      Pastes the adjustment into the Adjustments grid with the debit and credit amounts reversed.
    • Paste Without Values.
      Pastes the adjustment into the Adjustments grid with the debit and credit amounts value set as 0.00.

  • The
    Copy
    button isn't available (grayed) until one or more adjustments are selected with no workpaper reference attached.
  • When you select the
    Copy
    button, the application notifies you that the item was copied successfully to the clipboard.
  • The
    Paste
    button isn't available (grayed) until an adjustment has been successfully copied.
  • The
    Paste
    button isn't available (grayed) until a journal has been successfully copied.
  • You can't copy imported or automatically generated journals, such as Opening Balance journals, since this could cause duplicated values.
