Turn on integration with QuickBooks Online

Follow these steps to import a QuickBooks Online company's accounts for a contact in the
Trial Balance
screen.
  1. Go to
    Setup
    All Contacts
    , or
    Setup
    Clients
    screen, then select
    Edit
    for a selected contact or client.
  2. Select the
    Integration
    tab.
  3. Select
    Connect to QuickBooks
    .
    note
    The 1st time you choose this command, the application displays the QuickBooks Online Integration license agreement. Read the license agreement, mark the agreement checkbox, then select
    Save
    to continue. Once you accept the terms, the application won’t display the license agreement again.

  4. Select
    Save
    to open the
    QuickBooks Online Sign-in
    screen.
  5. Enter your user ID and password, then select
    Sign In
    to open Intuit's QuickBooks Online.
  6. If you sign in to QuickBooks Online as the client's accountant, select the company from which to import account data. If you logged in as the client, this option doesn’t apply.
  7. Select
    Next
    to establish a connection with QuickBooks Online.
  8. When a successful connection is established, close the separate browser window.
    After closing the separate browser window, refresh the
    Integration
    screen to see the correct connected state.
note
  • The link between QuickBooks Online and Onvio remains open even if you sign out and back into Onvio, or close the browser and re-open it.
  • Select
    Disconnect
    on the
    Integration
    tab to end the connection between the Onvio contact and the QuickBooks Online company.
  • If you go to
    Import
    QuickBooks Online
    in the
    Trial Balance
    screen, and haven't yet logged into QuickBooks Online, you'll be directed to a sign in screen in a separate browser window for that application.
