Turn on integration with QuickBooks Online
Follow these steps to import a QuickBooks Online company's accounts for a contact in the
Trial Balance
screen. - Go to , or screen, then selectEditfor a selected contact or client.
- Select theIntegrationtab.
- SelectConnect to QuickBooks.noteThe 1st time you choose this command, the application displays the QuickBooks Online Integration license agreement. Read the license agreement, mark the agreement checkbox, then selectSaveto continue. Once you accept the terms, the application won’t display the license agreement again.


- SelectSaveto open theQuickBooks Online Sign-inscreen.
- Enter your user ID and password, then selectSign Into open Intuit's QuickBooks Online.
- If you sign in to QuickBooks Online as the client's accountant, select the company from which to import account data. If you logged in as the client, this option doesn’t apply.
- SelectNextto establish a connection with QuickBooks Online.
- When a successful connection is established, close the separate browser window.After closing the separate browser window, refresh theIntegrationscreen to see the correct connected state.

- The link between QuickBooks Online and Onvio remains open even if you sign out and back into Onvio, or close the browser and re-open it.
- SelectDisconnecton theIntegrationtab to end the connection between the Onvio contact and the QuickBooks Online company.
- If you go to in theTrial Balancescreen, and haven't yet logged into QuickBooks Online, you'll be directed to a sign in screen in a separate browser window for that application.
