Change the contact assigned to the Onvio Primary Administrator sign in

Your Onvio Primary Administrator designated on the purchase agreement oversees the setup and facilitation of Onvio.
You can't delete this sign in.
However, the Licensee may request a change to the assigned contact.
The Licensee or current Onvio Primary Administrator can change the contact assigned to this role on our website. To do so, complete the following steps:
  1. Visit the My Account page on our website and sign in to your CS Web account.
  2. Select
    Manage Accounts
    in the
    My Firm
    section.
  3. The
    Onvio Primary Admin
section lists the contact assigned to this role. Select
    Reassign
to make changes to the assigned contact.
  4. Select the contact’s name from the
    Onvio Primary Admin
    dropdown.
  5. Select
    Reassign
to complete your changes. The confirmation screen displays the new Onvio Primary Admin's name. Select

    to complete your changes.
note
  • When you complete your changes, the new Onvio Primary Administrator and the Licensee will receive a confirmation message via email.
  • After assigning a new contact, the current Onvio Primary Administrator's CS Web account permissions return to their previous level. If no previous account existed, the CS Web account receives
    Web Only
permissions. For details, go to information about your CS Web account permissions on our website.
  • If you are the current Onvio Primary Administrator, you'll need to sign out of your account after reassigning a new contact. When you next sign in to your account, your website permissions will no longer include those of an Onvio Primary Administrator.
  • Changing the assigned Onvio Primary Administrator doesn’t turn off the person's Onvio sign in credentials.

Definitions and website permissions

The Licensee and Onvio Primary Administrator are similar but have some differences.
  • Licensee:
The named individual permitted to access and use Onvio pursuant to an order form. The licensee of Onvio will always take precedence over the Onvio primary administrator. A licensee serves as account administrator and has a legal right to client data that is entered in the program. A licensee is responsible for managing the client relationship with Thomson Reuters, including notifying Thomson Reuters of any firm demographic or name changes, and for managing security requirements. The licensee is also responsible for any data entered in the application.
  • Onvio Primary Administrator:
The individual designated on the purchase agreement who oversees the set and facilitation of Onvio. The primary administrator needs to be the first person to log to Onvio after purchase, set up staff members with product access, and delegate any others within the firm to have administrative rights. To ensure business continuity, you can't delete this sign in, but the licensee may request a change to the assigned contact.
