Error: Account locked after too many attempts

Scenario

This error occurs after too many unsuccessful Onvio sign in attempts.
Error message
Your account is locked after too many incorrect sign-in attempts. Check your email for more information.

Solution

An email will be sent to the email address of the account that is attempting to sign in. Use the
Unlock
link in the email to re-activate the account.
If you use Onvio Link, make sure it's up to date:
  1. Right-click on the Onvio Link icon in your task bar.
    Check the hidden icons in case the icon is nested.
  2. If
    Update Now
    is available, select it to update. Otherwise, your installation is the latest version.
