Error: !Error!: WebOrganizer send failed on file

Scenario

You may see the following error message when you are trying to print an organizer from UltraTax CS to Onvio.
Error message
!Error!: WebOrganizer send failed on file.

Solution

Check the following:
  • Matching SSN and email address between the UltraTax and Onvio client.
    note
    The SSN and email address must be unique to this client and can't be duplicated on other clients.
  • In Onvio Center, select
    Setup
    All Contacts
    1. Search for or select the Onvio client.
    2. In the
      Relationships
      section, make sure the intended recipient marked as the
      Tax Matters Contact
      .
    3. In the
      Client Center Access
      section, make sure the contact is registered.
If the previous has been verified try the following:
  1. In UltraTax, select
    Utilities
    Onvio Integration
    , mark the
    Populate Onvio client(s) and contact(s)
    checkbox and select
    Continue
    .
  2. Attempt to print the organizer to Onvio from UltraTax again, if this fails, continue with the following steps.
  3. Select
    Setup
    All Contacts
    in Onvio and search for the email address for the client.
  4. If there are multiple results for the same email address this can cause issues when printing to Onvio.
  5. Delete any duplicate contacts, including those that have a blank
    SSN
    field.
  6. Print the organizer to Onvio again.
If everything has been verified and tried, contact Onvio support.

  • Date/Time for the latest attempt to transmit the organizer
  • Error messages
  • UltraTax client
  • If it is affecting all users/clients
  • Are e-signatures included in the organizer?
