Change the system configuration folder location

The system configuration folder location is the location where Planner CS stores firm and user configurable files, including the list of plans for the firm, client letters, custom reports, report sets, and customizable staff preferences.
The default location for the system data path is WinCSI\$UTPSYS.
If you have installed Planner CS in a terminal server environment, follow these steps to change the Planner CS system configuration folder location (consult your certified terminal server professional).
  1. Choose
    Tools
    , then
    Change System Configuration
    .
    note
    This command is available only if you use Planner CS in a terminal server environment.
  2. In the
    Change System Data Path
     window, select the location of the new system configuration folder, then select
    OK
    .
  3. Restart Planner CS.
After you select a location, you will be prompted to restart the application for the change to take effect. When the application restarts, a new system configuration folder and the associated folders will be available.
