Indicate state payments are prepaid

  1. Select the
    Payments
     button in the federal module.
  2. In the resident and nonresident state payment tabs, mark the
    Yes/No
     checkbox in the
    Prepay current year state tax?
     field.
Planner CS will calculate a payment equal to the excess of the current year tax over any estimated payments, withholding, and overpayment applied. The calculated prepayment is displayed in the
Prepayment amount
 field.
