Override calculated fields and locating overridden fields

You can override the value in any calculated field in the plan.

Override the value of a calculated field

  1. Enter the new value over the current value.
  2. The amount in the overridden field will be displayed in red, and the Overrides button on the toolbar will turn red, indicating the presence of overridden data in the current federal or state module.

Remove an overriding value

Select the field (don't highlight it) and choose
Edit
, then
Delete Override
 or press the
DELETE
 key.
The data then changes back to the calculated value.

Locate all overridden fields for the current federal or state module

Choose
View
,
Diagnostics
,
Overrides
, or select the
Overrides
 button on the toolbar (which is enabled/red only when overridden data is present in the current module), to open the
Overrides
 window.
The
Overrides
 window lists all overridden fields in the current federal or state module and their values. Select an item in the list to go to the button and tab containing the overridden field.
