Use the main data-entry window to create or modify Watch Window templates

Use this procedure to create a new Watch Window template or modify an existing Watch Window template.
note
To create a new Watch Window template using the main data-entry window, you must modify an existing template and save the modified template with a different name.
  1. With a plan open, choose
    Tools
    ,
    Watch Window
    , then
    Show
     and select a template. (If you haven't previously created a template, you can choose one of the default templates included with Planner CS.) The
    Watch Window
     will open at the bottom of the main data-entry window.
  2. To customize the list of fields that are listed in the
    Watch Window
    , do one or both of the following:
    • To remove a field from the open
      Watch Window
      , right-click a field in the
      Watch Window
       and choose
      Remove from Watch Window
      .
    • To add a field to the open
      Watch Window
      , right-click a field in the main data-entry window and choose
      Watch Window
      , then
      Add Line
      .
  3. To save the open Watch Window, right-click the
    Watch Window
     and choose
    Save Template
    .
  4. In the
    Save Watch Window Template
     window, do one of the following:
    • To create a new template, enter a unique name in the
      Save Template As
       field and select
      OK
      .
    • To replace an existing template, select the template you want to replace, select
      OK
      , and then select
      Yes
       when prompted.
