Use the Watch Window designer to create, modify, or delete templates
- ChooseTools,Watch Window,Templates, or select theWatch Window Template
button to open the Watch Windowwindow. - Do one of the following:
- To create a new template, select theAddbutton, enter a name in theNamefield, and proceed to the next step.
- To modify an existing template, select the name of the template you want to modify, select theEditbutton, and proceed to the next step.
- To delete an existing template, select the name of the template you want to delete, and select theDeletebutton. This procedure is complete.
- In theModulelist, select the module you want to use. The module you select determines the button, tabs, and rows that will be available.
- In theButtons / Tabslist, select the plus sign next to a button name and then select the name of a tab that contains the variables you want to include in the Watch Window template. Each variable represents a row in the data-entry window. The Buttons / Tabs list displays all buttons and tabs that are included in the module as they are listed in the main data-entry window.noteThe Business Activity tabs and fields are not available for theWatch Window.
- Select a variable you want to include in the Watch Window template and select the Select button. Selected variables will appear in theSelected Rowspane on the right.noteYou can double-click a variable to move it to the opposite pane.
- Variables are displayed in theWatch Windowin the order they are listed in the Selected Rows pane. To reorder the variables displayed in the Selected Rows pane, select a variable and select the Up or Down arrow buttons to move the variable to the location.
- Select theEnterbutton to save theWatch Windowtemplate.
- Select theClosebutton to close theWatch Windowwindow.
