An error occurred while creating the interface to PlannerCSGlobalsLibrary
You may see this error while running the Planner CS desktop setup or when you open Planner CS.

Solution

Follow these steps on each workstation receiving this error. Before you start, make sure Planner CS is closed on all workstations across the network.
  1. If you have a Planner CS icon on your desktop, right-click it and choose
    Delete
    .
  2. Go to X:\WinCSI\UTP\Desktop\MSI, where X is the mapped drive or network location where Planner CS is installed.
  3. Right-click the
    PlannerDialogSetup.msi
     file.
  4. Choose Uninstall.
    note
    If there is an error during the uninstall, use the MS fixit tool to uninstall PlannerDialogSetup.msi.
  5. Go to X:\WinCSI\UTP\Desktop\MSI.
  6. Right-click the PlannerDialogSetup.msi file.
  7. Select
    Install
    .
  8. When the installation is finished, go to X:\WinCSI\UTP\Desktop.
  9. Right-click
    Setup.exe
     and select
    Run as Administrator
    .
  10. When the desktop setup is finished, open Planner CS.
