Open an existing plan

  1. Choose
    File
    , then
    Open
     or select the
    Open
     button to open the
    Open Plan
     window.
  2. In the list pane, select the plan you want to open.

    • To sort the list of available plans, select a column heading.
    • You can search for a plan by using the
      Search...
       field. To do so, select a column heading, such as Plan ID or Keyword, to narrow your search by that column (the name of the selected column appears in the name of the
      Search...
       field), then enter in the
      Search...
       field the first few characters of the information you want to locate. Planner CS highlights the first plan that includes the text string in the selected column.
    • To limit the list of available plans, select a preparer from the
      Show plans for
       dropdown list. Planner CS limits the list of plans to those assigned to the selected preparer.
  3. Select the
    Open
     button. The main data-entry window for the plan opens.
  4. If a password was assigned to the selected plan, the
    Enter Password
     window opens. Enter the password and select
    OK
    .

The application also lists recently opened plans in the File menu and the homepage. To open a recently opened plan, from the File menu, select a plan from the list near the bottom of the menu. Or, from the homepage, select the Open link for a plan listed in the Recently Used Plans section.
