Planner CS desktop setup loop

If you see repeated warnings that a desktop setup needs to be performed when opening Planner CS, follow these steps:
  1. If you have a Planner CS icon on your desktop, right-click it and choose
    Delete
    .
  2. Go to
    X:\WinCSI\UTP\Desktop\MSI
    , where X is the mapped drive or network location where Planner CS is installed.
  3. Right-click the
    PlannerDialogSetup.msi
     file and choose
    Uninstall
    .
    • If there is an error during the uninstall, use the MS fixit tool to uninstall
      PlannerDialogSetup.msi
      .
  4. Go to
    X:\WinCSI\UTP\Desktop\MSI
    .
  5. Right-click the
    PlannerDialogSetup.msi
     and choose
    Install
    .
  6. When the installation is finished, go to
    X:\WinCSI\UTP\Desktop
    .
  7. Right-click
    Setup.exe
     and choose
    Run as Administrator
    .
  8. When the desktop setup is finished, open Planner CS.
