Colors used in Planner CS
Planner CS uses colors to indicate the source of the data entered in a field.
The following table explains the meaning of each color.
Description | Example | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
White data entry field | ![]() | Data-entry fields have white cells. Amounts in data-entry fields appear in 3 different colors. |
Black numbers in data-entry fields | ![]() | Data you entered directly into Planner CS. |
Blue numbers in data-entry fields | ![]() | This is data that was transferred from Planner CS on data-entry screens. |
Maroon numbers in data-entry fields | ![]() | Imported from UltraTax CS or GoSystem Tax RS. |
Calculated fields | ![]() | Calculated fields have gray cells. Amounts in calculated fields appear in 2 different colors. |
Red numbers in calculated fields | ![]() | An amount was overridden by you. |
Blue numbers in calcuated fields | ![]() | Calculated by Planner CS. |
Green text in calculated fields | ![]() | Double-click a calculated field with a green field name to view the source of the calculated amount. |
Carryover fields | N/A | Carryover fields are treated as data-entry fields in the first year of an alternative and calculated fields in subsequent years. |
