Planner CS Idaho version 2025.1.1 release on 1/22/26

This user bulletin describes changes made to this release of Planner CS® Idaho.

What’s changed

Income tax brackets
For tax years 2025 and later, the 5.3% tax rate is imposed on taxable income over $9,622 (over $4,811 for Single and Married filing separately).
Standard deduction
The following standard deduction amounts apply for tax years 2025 and later:
  • $30,000 for Married filing jointly or Surviving spouse
  • $22,500 for Head of household
  • $15,000 for Single or Married filing separately
The additional standard deduction amount for blind or age 65 or over is $1,600 ($2,000 for Single or Head of household).
Itemized deductions
The
Addtn for federal tax credits
field has been added to the Deductions > Deductions tab. Idaho itemized deductions will now include any foreign tax credit and mortgage interest credit included on the federal Credits > Credits tab.
Retirement benefits deduction
The retirement benefits deduction limits are updated for tax year 2025.
Food tax credit
For tax years 2025 and later, the food tax credit is increased to $155 per person, and the additional credit for age 65 or over is eliminated.
