What's changed
Standard deduction
The standard deduction amounts updated for tax year 2025.
Personal exemption
The personal exemption amount is updated for tax year 2025.
Personal exemption phaseout thresholds
The personal exemption phaseout thresholds are updated for tax year 2025.
Dependent exemption tax credit
The dependent exemption tax credit amount and phaseout thresholds are updated for tax year 2025. Also, the credit amount is now doubled for qualifying children under age 6.
Property tax and sales tax credits
The property tax fairness credit and the sales tax fairness credit calculations are updated for tax year 2025.
