This user bulletin describes enhancements and changes made to this release of Planner CS® and special information related to scheduled 2025 Planner CS update releases.
What’s changed
Help and Support Center Update
We have updated the links within Planner CS so that users are now directed to our new Help and Support Center.
What’s fixed
Search Functionality Enhancement
We have resolved an issue affecting the search functionality in Open Plan. Previously, searches containing apostrophes in client names or keywords would generate an error. This issue has now been corrected, and the search feature will function properly with apostrophes.
Find Field Search Resolution
We have resolved an issue where an error would occur when using the Find Field feature and searching within the Find Help functionality. This feature now operates correctly without generating errors during searches.
What’s coming
Windows 10 support ending
In October 2025, Microsoft ended support for Windows 10. Because Thomson Reuters cannot support customers using our applications on unsupported operating systems, Planner CS will no longer be supported on Windows 10 as of October 14, 2025. We strongly recommend that you upgrade your workstations to a supported operating system soon.
Planner CS update releases
You can update 2025 Planner CS via CS Connect™ through October 2026. If you have an active internet connection, the Notices section of the Planner CS Home Page alerts you when an update is available. To download and apply updates, choose File > CS Connect, mark the Retrieve available updates checkbox, and click the Call Now button.
2025 UltraTax CS integration
You can import data from 2025 UltraTax CS with a Planner CS update release in February 2026. You must have UltraTax CS version 2025.3.0 to enable importing to Planner CS.

This release of Planner CS can import data from UltraTax CS years 2024 and earlier.
2025 GoSystem Tax RS integration
You can import data from 2025 GoSystem Tax RS with an upcoming Planner CS update release in March or April 2026.
