Define Graphs

Line Properties

To open this window, select
Reports
, then
Define Graphs
, then select the
Line Properties
 tab.
note
  • To enable the options in this window, select
    Add
     to create a new graph, or select
    Edit to modify an existing graph.
  • This tab is only available when the Line graph is selected. Select
    Graph Types
     to select a different graph type.

Fields & buttons

Line group field

Border button
Select this button to open the Border Color Editor window, where you can modify how the line borders are displayed on the graph. You can select to display the border, change the width and color of the border, and select a border style.
Color button
Select this button to open the Color window, where you can select a color for the lines on your graph.
No Color in Key
Select this checkbox if you don’t want to include a color in the graph's key for the selected graph variable.
Stairs
Select this checkbox to apply a step effect to the lines on the graph.

Points group field

Visible
Select this checkbox to display points on the graph.
note
This checkbox needs to be marked for the other options in the Points group field to be available.
Point Size
Use the arrows to change the size of the points on the graph.

This field is only available if the
Visible
 checkbox is marked.
Inflate Margins
Select this checkbox to expand the margins of the graph so that all data is displayed in the preview.

This checkbox is only available if the
Visible
 checkbox is marked.

Select this button to open the Border Color Editor window, in which you can modify how the point borders are displayed on the graph. You can select to display the border, change the width and color of the border, and select a border style.

Background button
Select this button to open the Color window, in which you can modify the background color of the points on your graph.

 checkbox is marked.
Style
Select a style for the graph's points. You can select one of the following styles:
  • Square
  • Circle
  • Triangle
  • Down Triangle
  • Cross
  • Diagonal Cross
  • Star
  • Diamond
  • Small Dot
