Layout Designer

Column header

Use this page of the Layout Designer to change the font of the column header, and to add column lines and footers.
To open this window, select
Reports
, then
Report Layouts
, then the
Col header
 tab.
note
To enable the fields in this window, select a layout in the list and select
Edit
 or
Add
 to add a new layout.

Column header group field

Font
This field displays the selected font. To change the font, select
Font
.
Size
This field displays the point size for the selected font. To change the point size, either enter the size in this field or select
Font
.
note
You can't change the font size when the <System> or <Tax Projection> layout is selected.
Font button
Select this button to open a dialog in which you can change fonts, font styles, sizes, and effects.
Bold
Select this checkbox to display bold font.
Italic
Select this checkbox to display italic font.
Underline
Select this checkbox to display an underlined font.

Other fields & buttons

Print column footers
Select this checkbox to print footers for the columns in the report.
note
This option is not available when the <System> or <Tax Projection> layout is selected.
Vertical column lines
Select this checkbox to print vertical lines in the columns in the report.
Column header background
Enter a value for the percentage of gray to appear for the column header background. The value can range from 0 (no gray) to 100 (black).
