Hide or rearrange alternatives or years

Use the Hide/Rearrange alternatives or years window to select which years or alternatives are visible in Planner CS and to arrange the order in which they are displayed.
To open this window, select
View
, then
Hide/Rearrange
, then
Hide/Rearrange More
.
note
  • The title of the window and the names of the list panes depend on the view option you've selected. If you select
    Alternatives
    , the window will control which alternatives appear and the order in which they appear. If you select
    Years
    , the window will control which years appear and the order in which they appear.
  • For an S Corp Comparison plan, you can rearrange the order of the two alternatives, but you can't hide or unhide alternatives or years.

Fields & buttons

Years or Alternatives in Plan
This list displays the years or alternatives contained within the open plan. Select the year or alternative you want to see, then
Select
to move it to the Years/Alternatives to View pane.
note
The years or alternatives in the plan that are not hidden appear in gray text in this pane.
Years or Alternatives to View
This list displays the years or alternatives that are selected for viewing. Select the year or alternative to hide it, then
Clear
to move it to the Years/Alternatives in Plan pane.
Down arrow
The order that the years or alternatives appear in the Years/Alternatives to View pane is the order in which they will be displayed in Planner CS. To move an item down in the list, select the item and then the down button.
Up arrow
The order that the years or alternatives appear in the Years/Alternatives to View pane is the order in which they will be displayed in Planner CS. To move an item up in the list, select the item and then the up button.

Depending which option you have selected, the title of the dialog and the contents of the lists may vary.
  • If you select
    Alternatives
    , you can hide or rearrange alternatives in the open plan.
  • If you select
    Years
    , you can hide or rearrange years in the open plan.
