The timeline, day, or work week view in the calendar only displays 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Follow these instructions to change those hours.

Because the following procedure involves changing one or more system files, you may want to have your IT professional make the specified changes.
Go to
X:\WinCSI\Practice CS
and find the
NetworkInstallation.ini
file (where
X
is the drive letter for the server where the Practice CS Shared files are).
Right-click on the file and select
Open with...
then select Notepad.
Under the
[appsettings]
section add a new line and enter
CalendarDayStartHour=X
where
X
is the hour of the day you want the calendars to begin with.
Add another line under
[appsettings]
and enter
CalendarDayDuration=Y
where
Y
is the number of hours to display.
Save your changes.
Example
CalendarDayStartHour=6
CalendarDayDuration=16
This sets your calendar to show 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

If you are running Practice CS on Virtual Office CS and would like to change the hours that display on the Practice CS calendars, contact Practice CS Technical Support.
A Practice CS Support representative will contact our Network Administration group and request that these changes be made to your account. This change may take up to 48 business hours to be made.

Support Representatives should email Citrix Portal Tech to make this update. Citrix Portal Tech can follow these instructions:
Open
Y:\practice cs data\firminstallation.ini
with Notepad. (If this file doesn’t exist, create a new text document named firminstallation.ini and add it to this location).
In the
FirmInstallation.ini
file, enter
[appsettings]
then select enter and add this text:
CalendarDayStartHour=6
and
CalendarDayDuration=16
The beginning hour determines what hour of the day will be the 1st hour visible within Practice CS Calendars, the Duration determines how many hours per day are visible. It is a firm's choice, so the start time doesn’t have to be 6, and the duration can be less or more than 16.
Select
File
then
Save
to save the changes.

You need permission from the firm licensee to request this change.
The change may take 24 to 48 hours. Set expectations accordingly.
Staff do not have to close Practice CS. However, changes will not take effect until Practice CS is exited and then restarted.
The change on Virtual Office or SaaS environment can only be made for all workstations.
