Request custom reports from Technical Services

Technical Services can create custom invoices, reports, and other documents with Custom Format services. This cost-effective solution to your reporting can save you time by allowing an expert in the design tools of Practice CS.
Technical Services can create custom formats for the following:

Common examples of custom formats from Technical Services include invoices with specific layers of grouping activities, invoices with additional transaction details, and reformatting reports to improve exports to Microsoft Excel.
  1. Create a request:
    Create a written request with the following information:
    1. An example of the closest version of the report that you can currently get from Practice CS.
    2. Explain what information is missing from this version of the report.
    3. Any special subtotals, grouping options, special columns, or how the report should be detailed. Technical Services can help clarify these when they contact you.
    4. If the report should print to paper, PDF, or Microsoft Excel.
  2. Submit the request
    : Send the written request to your sales account representative or via the link within the Practice CS Report Library.
    • Technical Services will contact your firm within 3 business days.
    • They'll confirm the information and gather any additional details to ultimately determine if more investigation is needed to complete the request.
    • If more time is needed, they'll provide a follow-up date when you'll receive the estimate.
    • Once confirmed, Technical Services will send a contract to your account rep for you to approve.
  3. Return the signed agreement
    : Once you sign the contract, Technical Services will create your custom format. They may also request data if it's necessary to build and test the custom format.
  4. Retrieve and import your custom format:
     Turnaround time is typically 1 week. When your custom format is ready, you can import it into Practice CS.
