Practice CS lets you to have more than 1 database. The initial installation adds a database called Sample that contains sample/training data that you can use to acquaint yourself with the operation of the program. At some point, you'll create one or more databases that you'll use to store and process your own data. Do the following to create a new database:
Open Practice CS using the Sample database.
Go to
File
,

, then
Firm
.
note
Practice CS refers to each database as a "Firm."
In the window that opens, go to
New Name
and enter the name you want to assign to your new database.
Select
OK
.
The application will create a new database. This may take a few minutes.
To open the newly created database, go to
File
then
Open Firm
. In the login screen, select your new database at
Open Firm
