Error: The amount entered for the Adjusted will cause the Carryover to be less than zero
Scenario
You'll receive the following error when you override an adjustment amount to 0, resulting in a negative carryover amount in
Detail Billing
.The amount entered for the Adjusted will cause the Carryover to be less than zero. When WIP amount is positive, Carryover cannot be negative. Please enter a value between 30.00 and 120.00 in the Adjusted field.
Cause
Practice CS doesn't permit negative carryover amounts.
Solution
In this example, $90 of WIP is billed for $120 resulting in a positive adjustment of $30. If you change the $30 adjustment to $0, Practice CS calculates a negative $30 carryover amount. You'll need to enter an adjusted amount between $30 and $120 to offset the negative carryover amount.
