Error: This database is in an unrecognized format
Scenario
You may receive the following error when running the Creative Solutions Practice to Practice CS Conversion Export utility, CSPExport.mde.
This database is in an unrecognized format. The database may have been created with a later version of than the one you are using. Upgrade your version of to the current one, then open this database.
Cause
You'll get this error when you are running the export utility using an unsupported version of Microsoft Access.
Solution
Install a supported version of Microsoft Access, and then run the export utility again.

If you're using a shortcut to open the utility, you can change the default application that opens CSPExport.mde by right clicking on CSPExport.mde, select
Properties
, Change
, and then Microsoft Access
