During a full install or update of Practice CS on a workstation or server, you may receive the following error:

Failed to Read AppDataPath.

This is an indication that the Practice CS Shared Files failed to install. Do the following to successfully install the shared files:

On the machine where the shared folders (WinCSI
folder) resides, open the Control Panel

Select Programs and Features
or Add/Remove Programs
.

Select Accounting CS Shared Files
or Workpapers CS Shared Files
.

select
Uninstall
or Remove
.

Restart the installation file.
