Error indicators
When an error is made in Practice CS, the program will indicate the error in 1 of 2 ways:
- A window will show in the center of the screen describing the error.
- An error indicator, sometimes called an error provider, will show next to the field or record containing the error. The error indicator appears as a red dot with an exclamation point.
To view the error associated with the error indicator, hover your mouse over the error indicator. The error will show as a tool tip next to the mouse pointer.

The tool tip shows for about 5 seconds. If you need to view the error description again, left-click your mouse in an open area without pointing to anything, then hover your mouse cursor over the error indicator again.
