Activity not available to select in time and expense entry

You receive an error message when you enter an activity in Time & Expense entry.
The Activity you have entered is not available for selection. Please select an Activity from the list.
Your activity also isn't listed when you select the
Activity
dropdown dropdown button to show activities.
There are a few reasons your activity isn't listed:
The Activity Status is inactive
To change the status of the activity:
  1. Select
    Setup
    then
    Activities
    .
  2. Select an activity, then
    Edit
    .
  3. Change the
    Status
    to
    Active
    .
  4. Select
    Enter
    to save the change.
You're entering an
Expense
activity on the
Time
tab
You can only enter time activities on the
Time
tab.
You're entering a
Time
activity on the
Expense
tab
You can only enter expense activities on the
Expense
tab.
You're entering an activity where the
Class
doesn't match your client.
You can only enter activities that match the class of the selected client. For example, you can only enter
Administrative
activities for
Administrative
clients.
