Update projects assigned to the prior year UltraTax CS solution

If Practice CS or UltraTax CS was out of date when you generated projects, update those projects to use the current year of UltraTax CS as the solution.
If Practice CS or UltraTax CS was out of date when you generated projects, Practice CS sets the UltraTax CS solution to the prior year version when you generate projects before updating both Practice CS and UltraTax CS to the current year.
Follow these steps to reassign the current year of UltraTax CS as the solution for those projects.
  1. Verify that both Practice CS and UltraTax CS are up to date.

  2. In Practice CS, select
    Actions
    , then
    Manage Projects
    .
  3. Filter and sort the project list to group the projects that need updating. You may need to apply multiple filters and sort orders and repeat this process to locate all affected projects.
  4. Select all projects that need updating. Use Shift or Ctrl to select multiple projects at once.
  5. Right-click the highlighted projects and select
    Edit Selected Projects
    .
  6. Select
    Change Project information
    , then
    Next
    .
  7. Set the
    Solution
    field to the current year of UltraTax CS. Optionally, enter a
    Completion Event
    and an
    Extension Event
    .
  8. Select
    Finish
    , then
    Yes
    to confirm the changes.
