Practice CS prompts users to apply updates after CS Connect updates are already installed

Fix the "There are updates that have yet to be applied" prompt that appears each time a user opens Practice CS after CS Connect updates have already been installed.
After you download and apply CS Connect updates in Practice CS, users may receive the following message each time they open Practice CS:
There are updates that have yet to be applied
If you select
Yes
, Practice CS appears to reinstall but completes very quickly. If you select
No
, Practice CS opens correctly.
This issue occurs when the version files on the workstation fall out of sync with the version files on the server.
As a result, the workstation incorrectly detects that updates are needed, even though the updates were already applied the first time the user opened Practice CS after the CS Connect update completed.
To fix this situation, uninstall and reinstall the Practice CS Desktop Setup from the network:
  1. Go to
    Control Panel
    Programs
    Programs and Features
    .
  2. Find and select
    Practice CS
    .
  3. Select the option to remove Practice CS.
  4. Go to
    X:\WinCSI\Practice CS\Desktop
, where X is the network drive on which the Practice CS shared files are installed.
  5. Double-click
    Setup.exe
. Follow the prompts to complete the desktop installation.
After reinstalling, you should no longer receive the update prompt when opening Practice CS.
