Custom portlet doesn't appear in the list of available portlets

If a shared custom portlet doesn’t appear in a staff member's list of available portlets, grant the staff member access to the relevant custom portlet type in their Security Group settings.
A staff member may be unable to view a shared custom portlet when trying to add it to their dashboard, even if the portlet was created with the
Allow others to view this portlet
option enabled.
To let a staff member add a shared custom portlet to their dashboard, grant them access to the relevant custom portlet type in their Security Group:
  1. Go to the Security Group settings for the staff member.
  2. Go to
    Practice CS
    Menu
    View Menu
    Home Dashboard
    Custom Portlets
    . Grant access to the relevant portlet type:
    • Firm News Feed
    • Report Viewer
    • RSS News Feed
    • Web Page
  3. Repeat this step for each Security Group the staff member is assigned to.
