Spell checker doesn't suggest the correct spelling of a word in Practice CS

If the spell checker doesn’t suggest the correct spelling of a word, cancel the spell checker, correct the word directly in the text, then restart the spell checker.
When the spell checker flags a misspelled word, it may not always suggest the correct spelling, and you can't enter the correct spelling directly in the spell checker window. For example, if you enter "clint" instead of "client," the spell checker may not offer "client" as a suggested correction.

This is a known issue in Practice CS and may be addressed in a future release.

Solution

  1. Select
    Cancel
    to close the spell checker window.
  2. Correct the misspelled word directly in the text.
  3. Select
    Check Spelling
    or choose
    Spell Check
    from the context menu to continue checking the remaining text.
