Create list entries for custom fields

Use the List Items window to create the entries for a dropdown list in a custom field of the List type.
To access the List Items window:
  1. Select
    Setup
    Custom Fields
    .
  2. Select the kind of custom field you want to create (for example, Offices, Staff, Activities), then select
    Add
    or
    Edit
    .
  3. In the Type field, select List as the custom field type, then select
    More
    .

Create a list of items

The list items you create will become the dropdown list selections for a List custom field. To add list items for a new custom field, follow these steps.
  1. Open the
    List Items
    window.
  2. Select
    Add
    to add a new list item.
  3. Add a brief ID for the list item in the
    ID
    field.
    note
    The ID may contain only numbers and letters.
  4. Add a description of the list item in the
    Description
    field. The description can be up to 30 characters long.
  5. Select
    Enter
    to save your changes, then select
    Done
    to return to the
    Custom Fields setup
    screen.

Edit list items

  1. Open the
    List Items
    window.
  2. Select the item you want to edit from the list.
  3. Select
    Edit
    , then make your changes.
  4. Select
    Enter
    to save the changes.
  5. Select
    Done
    to close the
    List Items
    window.
