Error: Firm year begin and end date must have matching record

You may get the following error message you attempt to advance to advance to a new year while setting an end date at the same time.

Error message

Firm Year begin and end date must have a matching Firm Date record.

This error occurs if you don't use your calendar for periods or years for your operating year.

To resolve this, you need to create a new period first, then set the end date for the new year.

Select Actions
, then Change Periods
.

Select Create new period
and set the end date to the date of the 1st period of the year.

Select OK

Select Actions
, then Change Periods
.

Select Edit current period
.

Change the current year end date.

Select OK
