Multi-office security options for firms with 1 office
By default, Practice CS offers security options for multiple offices. These options will show even for firms that don't have more than 1 office.
You don't need to mark any of the office-related security checkboxes if your firm doesn't have multiple offices or doesn't want to restrict access by office. Any security groups that your firm has previously set up aren't affected by the addition of office-related security to Practice CS. If needed, you can edit existing security groups to restrict access by office.
You can also use the security settings by office to do the following:
- Keep separate business units in the same database, but restrict access or filter information as needed.
- Partners may want to restrict access to only their clients, so the office field could be used for each partner.
